4x4 Without A Club

It is amazing what club members do for others!!!!
Lyn now Joe's wife, contacted me (Steph Awbery) in dispair, Joe always likes Land Rovers, and Lyn wanted to give Joe a surprise by being taken to the church, shall we say in a silver Land Rover. She looked everywhere with out any joy, so it was then she thought about asking the committee of the 4x4 club he is a member of called 4x4-withoutaclub based in Aldermaston, Berkshire. So Steph Awbery took all the details from her and said I will see what I can do. Well time was going by, and as it happened Steph was out shopping one day and guess who she bumped into, yes Joe!! out with his girlfriend now wife. As they were talking Joe said, oh you have not met Lyn, you must, but as I was walking around the shop, we bumbed into each other, I and Lyn had to keep a straight face in front of Joe, which we did and as we said goodbye, we gave a wink to each other with out Joe knowing!!
Well it was time for one of our monthly events at Aldermaston, members were arriving all day, then to my surprise a silver Land Rover came in whom I knew, that was it, as soon as they parked up I was over talking to them, Stef Sumner and his family, so I explained everything to them, they said yes we will help out, so they contacted Lyn, details were exchanged and there is the picture of the Land Rover with Joe and Lyn.
