On Boxing Day we had snow and ice, which made it very slippery (interesting!!!).
Our two charity meetings in December were for Jay Brewer, who has a Brain Tumour,
and were very successful raising £1,303.25. Thank you all very much for your
generosity. Jay is due home on the 12th January and as far as we know has responded
well to the treatment. We will post more information on the website as we receive it.

Kath and I attended a charity auction for Jay, organised by Doreen and Lance.
We had a lovely evening. They made over £1,000 on the night. As Jay was already
in the USA, the committee agreed to present a cheque for £1,000 Chris and Doreen
received it with tears of gratitude. In the photo on the left Kath is presenting
the cheque to (L to R) Lance, Chris (Jays Grandma) and Doreen.
